New ppc blue hub with two 300kW fast chargers at the Trade Estates Shopping Park that hosts IKEA in Larissa

– PPC blue is expanding its electrification network with a new hub with 12 charging points including two 300kW fast chargers.

– It is the first large PPC blue hub, outside Athens-Thessaloniki, at the Trade Estates Retail Park in Larissa.

– For visitors to the Retail Park and vehicles travelling on the national network.

– PPC’s cooperation with Trade Estates will be extended to other Retail Parks of the company.

PPC and Trade Estates REIC are joining forces to promote electromobility, starting with the creation of the largest PPC blue hub outside Attica, at the Larissa Retail Park, which houses IKEA. With a total power of 776 kW, the new PPC blue hub supports the simultaneous charging of up to 12 vehicles. It includes eight charging stations of up to 22kW (AC) and four fast charging stations of up to 300kW (DC) for rapid vehicle charging.

The two fast chargers with a power of up to 300 kW operating at the Larissa Retail Park are, at the moment, the fastest and most powerful in Greece and have specifications for disabled people, such as a special screen, special design of the charging position, etc. The completion of the battery charging from 10% to 80% can be done in a minimum of time, even in 18 minutes, depending on the type of vehicle.

Trade Estates Retail Park in Larissa hosts IKEA and is located at the 8th km of the Old National Road Larissa – Athens, with the location being ideal both for visitors to the Shopping Park and for those travelling on the national road network, as it is only 2 km from the exit of the New National Road Athens – Thessaloniki.

The cooperation between PPC and Trade Estates REIC began in December 2022 at the Top Parks Piraeus Shopping Park, where the first 300 kW (DC) PPC blue rapid charger in Greece was installed.  Since then, PPC blue hubs of high charging power have been constructed in Trade Estates’ Shopping Parks in key locations in Athens, Thessaloniki and Larissa. The PPC blue hubs will be extended to the Top Parks of Ioannina in the coming days.

PPC blue is the first electric mobility provider to create charging hubs, following the example of major providers abroad, starting with the PPC blue hub at Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” (AIA).
